Vision
Global Perspective:
GCM's Focus:
- Population growth: 7 billion; 2 billion Christians to reach 5 billion is driving mobilization.
- Therefore, we want to:
- Help establish 5 million churches or faith communities by the end of 2020
- One church for every 1,000 inhabitants;
- Definition of a church: A community of at least 10 believers living according to Acts 2:42 and led by a trained and recognized leader (GCM)
- Helping to plant 103,000 churches or faith communities in 16 countries
The 5 Key Contributions of the Global Movement of Churches (GCM)
- Inspiring vision and action to plant 5 million churches or faith communities by the end of 2020
- Training leaders who multiply
- Initiating and supporting church movements that multiply
- Promoting intentional strategic partnerships
- Developing (producing) appropriate resources and strategies and making them available (GCM Training, Jesus Film, other training materials, etc.)
Why Collaborate with Churches
- The Supreme Order is given to the Church;
- Helping the Church Fulfill Its Mandate
- The Church has available resources (human, material, and financial).
- Encourage and support members of the body of Christ to work together to accelerate the fulfillment of the Supreme Order.
