George and his wife, Annie, became Christians through the Campus Ministry of India Campus Crusade for Christ. In 1971, George became a Campus Crusade for Christ staff member. Since then, George has served as a campus director, Great Commission training director, financial director and the director of the I Found It(SM) campaign in India. Also, from 1982 to 1996, George served as the national director of India and then as the director of South Asia from 1997 to 2005.
George was appointed vice president of South and Southeast Asia in 2007. God has used George and Annie to develop a strong model of developing partnerships with churches, organizations and denominations. Under George's leadership, India developed active partnerships with over 800 groups doing evangelism and discipleship in specific areas of the country. Roughly one-third of the world's population lives within the 11 countries that create George's region.
George and Annie have three children, George Jr., Esther, and Anna.
